Brief Description
The book (Sinis - The land of silence), at the second edition, describes the caracteristics of the Sinis peninsula, one of most fascinating parts of the island of Sardinia. The peninsula has a rich concentration of wildlife and a natural environment is rich in geological, geomorphological, faunistic, and floristic interest. In the coastl area unfortunately private collectors and amateurs have been collecting in alarming numbers the more particular types of starfish, birds and flowers. In 1988 the government decided that this coast should be preserved, and now there is one of the greatest marine parks in Italy.
